Once Upon A Time A Town Grew and Grew and Grew Until It.....
Posted by Sally Morris

Once upon a time a small town in the state of South Carolina, called Greenwood, that no one ever heard of, had a big lake near the town, Lake Greenwood. Only the people near by knew about it. The people there were so friendly and loved their town so much that everywhere they traveled they told everybody they met about this great little place that only a few people knew about.

As the word was spread around lots of industry and businesses came knocking on Greenwood's door and they were invited to come in and they put lots of people to work and the town grew and grew but unlike other towns that got bigger, the people did not grow cranky.
The people in Greenwood were so happy to have lots of jobs that they were even more friendly than ever. Lake Greenwood was also becoming well know throughout the land and people from all over the world found out about this beautiful lake in the little town called Greenwood and they began to come by the thousands and buy lake property which caused the town to build new communities on the lake and the more they built the more the people came and bought land and homes. Now the little town became a small city and the businesses grew and the town grew and the lake grew and when the big bad real estate market crisis tried to come in and ruin all the progress the little town had made the people of Greenwood banded together and said no way we'll just hold steady for awhile and we'll ride this out together. We'll hold the real estate prices until the economy recovers we aren't going to try and grow too big, too fast because we know from watching what happened to others what happens when you get too big for your britches. We'll take it slow and steady and we'll live happpily ever after in spite of the big bad real estate crisis.
