Lots of good information!

Thanks Diane - We are always looking for new adventures for our 3 year old - the Sandbox Museum sounds like what we need to visit during our next visit ti Hilton Head.

Brian,

You won't be able to drag her out of the place---of course, it's perfect for a rainy day.  Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning Diane,

Such a wonderful post with information on the museums and history of your area....it's nice to see that heritage is valued in the Hilton Head region.
Perhaps you would consider re-posting this article and including it in the Heritage Properties, Historic Sites and Antiques group...I would like to feature it there....and we would love to have you as a member.

Diane - I think it is such a great service for your community to include museum information. Nice list!

Rick and Ines,

Thanks for commenting--Yes, we have a lot of interesting local history and I feel it's important for tourists to know about our Lowcountry.  Hope you get to visit here someday.

Diane
