FRIENDS" VS. "SOUTHERN" FRIENDS

Oh yea....so true.

I miss the South, the manners etc.. When we first moved here I walked right in to someone's house. They told me they preferred I call first.

Ugh....differnt rules. I like the Southern ones best.

I love living in the South. People are so polite and friendly. There is quite a difference here.

Laura... These are very cute, I must say most of my friends from the south posses these same southern graces but not all of them do.

If we lived close you would bet I would be a Southern friend. Isn't it great?

I love Southern manners!  Hubby was born and raised in the South and each time we visited I always felt so heartwarmed by everyone!

Nothing better than a true friend! I would rather have 2 southern friends than a boatload of friends.

I have to get some better friends. All mine spend hours with me laughing and talking, but they never do the damn dishes.

Love the post!  There is definately a difference in the South.  A few years back I had to go to Cleveland for a few months.  I knew I was back home in the South when on the way home I stopped at a gas station in TN and the person at the register said, "Well hi there hun, how are you doing today?  It was like a breath of fresh air.  :)
