Loris, South Carolina most have ever heard of it, fewer still have driven these small town streets. For those of us who know her well, will never forget the comfort she has afforded us. Things are changing, and at such a rapid pace it seems that the small town feel fades everyday.
I can remember when we all knew one another....times change. With three 100 lot subdivisions approved within the city limits, and others slated to begin in the next few months change is busting from the seems. You see people are figuring out what we already know. Easy access to the beach, all the attractions without the traffic and congestion. Larger homes, affordable prices, and a since of small town community is what is driving this growth. I hope the community we all know and love can survive this
development and grow with the city.
Someday this small town will be as grand as this old oak.

How far are you from Conway?
Only about 15 miles. Just North on 701...
My office is actually located in Conway.
Only 17 miles for North Myrtle Beach
Are you familar with the area.
Cool,
I took a couple classes at Horry-Georgetown Tech. I use to live in Myrtle....I loved that place.
How's the market down there?
Myrtle Beach east of the waterway is pretty slow. But rural Horry County(Loris, Longs, Conway) all have really strong markets. North Myrtle Beach is fairing well in the housing market...Condo's are dead...I think somewhere around 9,000 active on the market this morning.
WoW! So, how much to pick up a condo in Myrtle? Give me 1bdrms, 2bdrms, etc....
Are any on the water?
Loris, is going to be a booming city soon! By the way I want that tree!
Tino,
Condo's have bottomed out...I think the best buy is Fairway Oaks, because it is walking distance to the highly anticipated Hard Rock Theme Park...They allow you to rent weekly and the HOA dues are realtively reasonable. You can pick up a two bedroom two bath for around 100-110 maybe lower if you really hunt out the distress sales. But you will have to hurry lots of people are snatching these things up.
