The Federal Reserve has a new Truth in Lending Proposal which limits the Lender’s ability to earn yield spread premium (that means making money off banks).

This will reduce a lender’s ability for a no fee loan and eliminate competition for competitive pricing, which could wipe out some lenders. In the end, the consumers will end up paying for it…

R-1366 is going through a comment period. That means that any concerned citizen could voice his opinion. To date there are only 300 comments.
