Pavilion Parking Garage, Ninth Ave. North at Kings Highway

On-line registration for South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale has closed. The first three floors of the Pavilion Parking Garage are sold out for Saturday’s big event, but a few spaces remain on the fourth floor. To rent a space tomorrow (Friday), contact Richard Kirby at 918-2390 or visit the Base Recreation Center. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the sale.

Of course, admission to Saturday’s sale is free for all bargain hunters! Come browse four floors of treasures awaiting new homes. Gates open promptly at 7:00 a.m., with the sale ending at 12:00 p.m. Nearly 400 vendors will be on hand offering one of just about every item ever created. If you are one of those vendors, here are the rules and regulations to follow.

Saturday also is the last day of the parking meter season, and the meters will be enforced. Convenient metered parking is available, or free public parking is available west of Kings Highway. Look on Broadway Street and in parking lots at Myrtle’s Market, the Myrtle Beach City Hall, the Myrtle Beach Train Depot and the surrounding areas for free parking. Note that a yellow-painted curb signifies “no parking,” which also will be enforced.
