Rural Post Office - near Charleston, SC -Speechless Sunday


Established in 1894, this could possibly the be one of the smallest and oldest Post Office in use today. Located in Berkeley County, Pinopolis is about 35 miles from Charleston, and is a peninsula of the Cooper River. Pineopolis has two historic districts listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The village served as a shelter for refugees during the Civil War.
