Death Panels

Death panels seems to be the big topic of conversation with our congressmen and congresswomen as well as President Obama and his staff.

I don't know about the rest of you, but this has me extremely concerned. Now, I understand that our government is saying that there is nothing to this "false rumor".

Can we believe what our government tells us? I believe that it has been proven that we cannot believe them.

I am among the group that would be considered for the death panels --- it is not very comforting to me to hear all of this talk.

The death panels discussion is all about those of us who qualify for Medicare ---just because we get a life threatening disease that needs expensive treatment does not justify just letting us die in order to save the taxpayers money. I don't want to be treated like the car clunkers --- do you?

OK, maybe, I'll partial, but wait a minute, I am me (the group over 65) and I have a lot left to contribute to this world --- in my opinion, this is one of the problems with electing such a "young" president of the USA --I'll bet if he were over 65, a lot of these types of discussions would not happen.
