28th Annual Charleston Christmas Parade

I cannot believe that it's already December!!

Just a couple more weeks and it will be Christmas! YAY!

One of the things that we look forward to each year is the Charleston Christmas parade. When we were dating and early in our marriage, we used to go to the parade because Jim liked to look at all the trucks :)

Now we go to enjoy all the festivities and get right into the Christmas spirit!

This year's parade is going to be on Sunday, December 6th at 2 pm. The parade begins at the intersection of Calhoun and Meeting Streets, proceeds down King Street to Broad Street and then to Lockwood Boulevard. There are always bands, civic groups, media groups, floats and performers to entertain all ages for a couple hours.

And of course, no parade this time of year would be complete without Santa showing up at the very end!

This event is free for all to come out and enjoy. Just bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!
