USC Gamecock Football - USC to Play Auburn for the SEC Championship!...

This Saturday, December the 4th, USC Gamecocks will play the Auburn Tigers for the SEC Championship! The game will begin at 4 PM and will be televised on CBS. If you are not going to attend, be sure to tune in and cheer for Gamecocks!

"SEC Game Excitement Spreads Across USC Campus

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - This weekend USC will face Auburn in Atlanta for the SEC title game. While the Gamecocks lost to Auburn earlier this year, fans are confident they will pull off a win this time around.

"I think there's a lot more excitement on campus right now,"said Bill Schumacher.

Nejmi Burnside agrees. "Everybody is excited about it."

They are not talking about exams. USC students and fans are fired up about this upcoming weekend and the SEC title game against Auburn in Atlanta.

"Auburn is a good team but a lot of their games this year have been very close and it is very hard to beat the same team twice in a season so I think they should be ready for it,"said Schumacher.

Breonna Mealing says USC knows how to play Auburn. "We should have won last time, but I think we'll actually pull it out this time,"said Mealing.

All across the USC campus students are proudly wearing their garnet and black Gamecock gear.

Many fans point to this past weekend's victory over the Clemson Tigers as a good tune up to the Auburn Tigers showdown.

"The fact that they can show up and win against Clemson which historically is one of our hardest matches of the year, really inspires me that we have a lot of confidence going into the SEC Championship."
