What's going on?

For those of you who follow, you will know that I am part of a team, with my wife. We are the Langstone Team at newly re-branded Carolina One Real Estate.

So, I am still hearing lots of comments regarding the slow market, well let me tell you about my week.

i) I had a listing appointments for 5 properties plus 1 property that my wife will be listing shortly.

ii) My wife has had a closing.

iii) We have had 2 Buyer contacts this week, which we are currently gathering properties to show next week.

iv) I have had 3 web contacts, 2 from ActiveRain and one from Langstoneteam.com regarding marketing.

v) We have had 2 properties in our own neighborhood sell within 60 days of being listed.

vi) We had one well publishized "price rise" in our local market, on a vacant lot, from $585,000 to $650,000

I am not bragging, although it does appear that way, it has been a busy week, but the local market here in Charleston & Mount Pleasant, South Carolina can't be that depressed or slow when we are seeing this level of activity.
