Furman University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Furman University is offering courses for Seniors through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) for $300 a year you can take up to four courses a quarter! The courses are for continuted intellectual enrichment and include topics such as: Shakespeare Play Reading Group, Great Trials in History, Intermediate Bridge, Lewis and Clark Expedition, Great Decisions 2008 and the Presidential Election, and Culinary Tour of Mexico and Peru. There is also Intermediate Hiking and Waterfall Trekking to keep both your mind and body tuned up. And for an introduction into the local scene, a few of the bonus tours include Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maintenance Facility, Historic Greenville Homes, Mountain View Orchids, and the Sandburg House at Flat Rock.
