So you've tried to sell your home for a while and you just haven't got any calls, well time to look around at your home and see if there is anything you can do to help out the agent. Clean up outside you home, curb appeal is a huge thing, if It looks bad outside or it looks like a playground time to clean up. Organize!! get those toys to the backyard and plants some nice flowers like pansy's that will take the cold. Your front door needs look nice, maybe put out a pretty welcome mat. Pick up the house and pack up or get rid of clutter and things you don't need. This makes the room look bigger. If the walls are a bright or loud color consider painting which is only about $20-45 dollars. Put up a new shower curtain and really dust and clean. if you have pets please keep there area clean, and watch out for that liter box, nothing like getting knocked out the door by the smell of a liter box!!!! Common since means a lot. Make it look like something someone would like to buy!! With the market having so many homes for sale you have to make yours stand out and market itself. You are in a competition and you have to make your house different than all the rest! Why do they want your home, will they want to live there? It is about location, and marketability. When you buy home make sure it is a good resale home, just because it is a great price does not mean someone will buy it if the schools are bad or the neighborhood is in a crime area. Do your homework before you buy, and remember a deal isn't a deal if you can't resale it if you really had to because of illness or work. Think ahead and put yourself in a what if thought pattern. Make wise decisions now will save you in the end!
