I come with a joyful heart that even while all the bad things that are happening in this country that my family is safe and home. That we have food and heat and that we are fortunate enough to have a house. The reason I am writing this is I see so many people hurting and not a clue as what to do .We learned a very long time ago to live with what God provides. My husband broke his back when my kids were 3 and 4. For one year we went through 5 surgeries , no income, and the fact that we had to sell everything to survive garage sales ,newspaper you name it , if we did not need it we sold it. You would not believe what you find in closets and garages. One Christams I bought the kids Christmas from a huge garage sale. We always had a home and the basic comforts of life, but we did without a lot. We learned the difference from want and need. This also rubbed off on my kids , because they follow these rules as they are teens. Times were hard, but with the grace of God we made it. Every single time we had a need it was met. I am not kidding, we prayed and It was answered. I learned to trust God and even managed to help others in need. I am not bothered by not buying huge Christmas gifts or new items every week. Because we learned you could do it on a cash pay bases. If we couldn't pay cash , we just did not do it. Now 15 years later, our cars are paid for and we have no debt except for a small mortgage on our house. if you are facing finical ruin, start praying and give it to God. Sell what you don't need and start simplifying your life, it will bring freedom you never have felt before. It will be hard and you will have to sacrifice things , but the pay off is priceless. Good luck I will pray for you and if you need someone to talk to email me. If you give this problem to God and trust him you will make it. You have to have faith. Learn to trust and learn to live like our grandparents did, a simple life, but one with a strong family background based on faith and prayer. Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart ! We are luckier than we think
