Preparing a house for sale part 3 The final list

I hope you all found the first two blogs to be helpful, and are able to use those ideas to better your listings. Here is the final list, it is shorter then the others but just as good (in my opinion). Again feel free to comment or add.

Maximize your showings (geared to home owners)

-Be sure to have fliers somewhere in the house, i like to put them by the door or in the kitchen

-next to the flyers have a place for business cards

-If the owner is home during a showing make sure they stay out of the way (its better if they leave all together)

-Make sure to keep all business cards to get the Realtors opinion on the home, and for your database

-During showings make be sure to turn on lights

-one more thing that i like to do (if it is available in the home) is if they have an HD TV i like to put it on the discovery channel or national geographic during the day. Its a neat feature that i picked up from another agent, and it usually gets a good response
