Every year our local paper publishes hundreds of letters to Santa. Here are a few so you can get back inside the mind of a child for a little while...
Dear Santa,
I want a doll. I want a play kitchen set. I want a play horse. I can't wait for Christmas.
Dear Santa,
I was good this year. I cleaned up my room like my mama told me to. I had fun at school. I love my teachers very much. I had a great start.
Can you bring my mama a new car? He old car has bad brakes and the windshied wipers are not working. She really needs a new car.
Can you bring me a Nintendo DS? I've never had one before. I like a game that is hands on; that's why I want one so bad.
Dear Santa,
I was good this year. I did everything I was told to do. I shared my toys with my friends, brothers, and sisters. Can you bring my mama pots for cooking? She is a great cook. She will be happy to get pots for Christmas. I want a camera to take silly pictures with. I could take pictures everywhere.
Dear Santa,
I will like a new bike. I would like bells. How is Mrs. Claus doing? If you have a doll I would like it. I like you.
Dear Santa,
I won't be getting any toys. I'm grounded until I say sorry to a counselor. I will be good for my whole life.
Dear Santa,
How are you? I hope you are ok. I heard Rudolph was getting sick. I would like a lot of games for my PS2.
The best gift is a smile...Merry Christmas!
