I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price of gas today in Upstate, South Carolina. The price of gas was $2.999 per gallon on one corner and $2.959 per gallon on the other corner. Was I seeing things? Was that first number actually a "2" not a "3"? I wasn't the only one questioning the signs, it seemed liked everyone was slowing down to look at the signs. It was almost a traffic hazard. There were 20 to 30 cars deep waiting in line for the "cheaper" gas. It was encouraging sign. I hope the lower prices will continue. it will help lift everybody spirits.
