My high school, Westminster High, closed the year I graduated because the community merged two schools and built a new one. Saturday night we had "The Final Four" 30 year reunion. Of my class, I was disappointed that only 11 of us attended. I am not sure why someone would not attend. Yes, I am aware that you have lost the connection that you had with the members of that group. I have moved on, as well. There isn't one member of my graduation class that I see on a monthly basis. Many of them have moved away but most of them are still local. For me, it is a great time to reflect because there were a lot of photos from our high school years. I also caught up with what my classmates are doing these days. It was an opportunity for me to "brag" about my children. (I took photos, of course.) It was a great opportunity for me to meet people from the other classes and also all the spouses who were present. I tried to speak to everyone in the room. And, of course, I made some business connections. I was able to put a few contacts in my address book and I am sure most of them were not aware that I was a Realtor. So, who knows when they might need one.

It also was a great time for me to analyze where I am and where I am going. Am I meeting the goals that I set for myself?
So, I encourage you to get out there! Attend your high school reunion!
