Algood Tennessee is a fast growing community unique in many features. The K-8 Algood school is one of the most popular in Putnam County or Cookeville TN area! Now, with growth and expansion, Algood is building an elementary school right next door. This new facility will help with minimizing classroom size and provide exceedingly better educational standard for its students.

The new Elementary School will be 110,000 square feet with media center, gym, and dining area in addition to classrooms. It is projected to hold 600 elementary students. This great new school is projected to be finished in 2009.

Many of Algoods Preschools are excellent in preparing your child for academic learning. My spotlight is on Kid Kuntry Preschool located behing the Algood Fire Station downtown. As a parent of a Kid Kuntry Preschool child, I was impressed with how much my son knew on his first day of Kindergarten this year.
