The day started off today with the Regatta at the Clarksville Riverfest. There was fun for everyone. There were a total of 30 boats to enter the Riverfest Regatta which 27 made it to the finnish line while still floating. The other three sunk at the dock. The Southside Cripler and his partner decided to swim with their wrinkled boat so they could at least Finnish the race.
As the day goes on there were many events taking place including the 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony. The 101st Airborne Band played music, there was an Honor Guardalong wirh the 21 Gun Salute and the playing of TAPS. What an emotional event to Honor those lost in the attack on 9-11-01
Other events include the Wait Staff Wars, Dance Demonstrations and so much more. Dont' forget the Kids Zone. The Riverfest festivities are still going on into the night. Come on out and enjoy the music. Visist the Clarksville Riverfest site for a complete line up for tonights entertainment
