Here are some other notes I took from our Get Motivated Business Seminar today in Nashville, TN.

Tamara Lowe is the Co-founder and Executive Vice President of Get Motivated Seminars, Inc. Her first book, "Get Motivated!" is being published by Random House for release on January 1, 2009. I would encourage everyone to go out and purchase this book! I am!

Motivational DNA. This is awesome. Something that her team has been studying for years and years. It will be in her book. DNA stands for Drives, Needs and Awards. Under Drives there are two personalities: Producers and Connectors.

Producers are assertive, take charge, bold and they are the don't show me, just do it. They are worse listeners because they already know it. They are Competitive. Producers want Results

Connectors will talk on the elevator and sometimes when they are alone on the elevator. They want to do things with you when they don't have anything going on for them. They are Cooperative. Connectors want relationships.

The Needs in the DNA are Stability and Variety.

Stability are about routine, neat freaks, organized. They are about Constancy

Varietylike new experiences and they can be very persuasive. They love change.

The Awards in the DNA is Internal and External.

Internal is about making a difference. They want appreciation without awards.

External likes tangible awards, benefits from them. They love bonus' with the awards.

Whatever your DNA is, you will find out and learn how to be the best you can be with your DNA! You will realize that you don't have time to worry about what other people think. There is only 1 person you need to worry about and that is God.
