Clarksville and Montgomery County Parents can check their children's work online

Another reason I love the great city of Clarksville. Anyone who states that public schools are not challenging our students, or are not engaged should look at the Clarksville and Montgomery County Tennessee School system as an example of how it should be ran.

I would put our schools up against any district - as a parent I believe that much in this system! Here is yet another example why - "PowerSchool provides grade data for all students" Yet another opportunity for Clarksville and Montgomery County Parents to get INVOLVED with their child's education.

Our daughter goes to middle school this year (6th grade) and while there was no opportunity to see ‘real time' grades and attendance for us, we did have constant email communications with her teacher, quarterly meetings and weekly notes. This takes it to a whole new level!

So, parents - you asked to be more informed - here is our opportunity. We have a better opportunity to engage in our Children's future! I love the city!

Good information I will pass to others. Have a great day! :)

Tim: Sounds like a great idea

Tim,  I think you hit on something in your post that should be emphasized.  If a student has parental involvement and encouragement he/she will do so much better in school.  You would put our school system up against other schools because you are involved and are aware of what is going on in the system.  It is sad at how many parents will never check out the link you provided nor pay attention to the "...constant email communications with her teacher, quarterly meetings and weekly notes."  Tim, anyone who write a post like this is definitely an involved parent.  Good job.
