Blogging My Climb to Getting Ahead

Well, my license have been active for exactly one week to the day today. I've mailed out 9 postcards to FSBOs and I've sent 1 email. That's no where near the number of emails that I've sent to let family and friends know that I'm back in business. Yes, I did say "back in business". How so? I was in real estate from summer '04 thru winter '06. I had decent business and was making money but I didn't have my college degree; something that I've truly wanted since my very first day of college in January '02. So, I put my real estate career on hold to go back and complete my Bachelor of Science degree and I walked the line with 1200+ other students at Tennessee Technological University on May 3, 2008. I sacrificed, my kids sacrificed...my whole family sacrificed. And what did it take? Lots of patience and tons of drive. So when you think you've got drive, you better sit back, buckle up and hold on because honey, you ain't got nothing on me!!
