The Visitor Bureau posted a top 12 list in today's Williamson County section of the Tennessean. They hit on a couple of my Franklin TN favorites. Number 1 on their list, and I don't think they are necessarily in a priority order, is a visit to Arrington Vineyards. Wine tasting, beautiful country side and live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays make this a fantastic recreation and entertainment value. Don't miss their Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina (Logins and Messina) concert on September 6th.
When you are in Historic Downtown Franklin, stop by and Merridee's for breakfast, or lunch for that matter. Merridee's Breadbasket is number 4 on Williamson County's to-do list. Just of Main Street on 4th Ave across from the court house (free) parking garage you will find the best baked daily breads, rolls, pastries and pies. The baking smells will draw you in but the taste and warm friendly people will keep you coming back.
