Battle Days in Franklin - If you know anything about Franklin, then you should know that it was one of the bloodiest days of fighting in the Civil war. A lot of battlefields have been purchased or donated to the city of Franklin to preserve the history and now they are having battles again. Of course these are just play battles, but it's fun to see. The cannons on both side of the battle are amazing to feel more than hear. This event goes on for 2 days every week, and it's getting bigger every year. They estimated 4000 spectators last year, and I would guess that they had more than that yesterday, and they still have another day of it.

It's interesting for fans of history, but for some it's just more traffic for Franklin.
