Annual Garden Gala in Jonesborough

Birds, Blooms and Butterlies Garden Gala in Jonesborough is Saturday, May 28. Garden tours are 12;30-5, with tea 1-4. Seminars and workshops will be in the morning, starting at 9:15.

Admission is $12. There will be tours of a number of special gardens, seminars, plant clinics, gardening products and refreshments. Tickets are available at 423-753-1010 or at Jonesborough Visitors Center.

This annual event is sponsored by the Tuesday Garden Club and the Schubert Club of Jonesborough.

A friend of mine, Pat Smith, will be demonstrating her work and selling her pressed flower pictures in front of the Storytelling Center. Pat also does classes in pressed flower arranging and I’m looking for free time when I can get a group of friends together to enjoy learning something new and fun.
