Come Join Us in Monterey this Saturday, June 4/2011, from 10 AM to 2 P.M. as Downtown Monterey, Inc. hosts four-hours of fun beginning with a youth bicycle decorating contest and parade with a $100 cash Grand Prize. Tour the historical "Grand" Imperial Hotel and visit the Baptist, Methodist and Nazarene churches---all within walking distance of each other---and stand in awe at their historical stained glass windows. (Guides will be on hand to tell a bit of history)..

Too, visit each Monterey merchant as you ask trivia questions about their business or building. The merchant or a volunteer will sign this trivia form---picked-up at the Downtown Merchants Booth under the tent on the corner of Holly and Commercial Avenue. These signed forms will be placed in a box at the Downtown Merchants Inc. booth for a 2 PM drawing for another $100 cash prize and a "Goodie Basket" filled with items from local merchants.

Throughout the event musicians will entertain you from the 'Main Stage " located in the center of town. Harmonize with the Barber Shop Group and enjoy the diversified talents of Michelle Looper and Brenda Ray and other special artists. Asher's Bicycle Shop on Commercial Avenue will be announcing the winner of a 2011 Schwinn bicycle at 1:45 . MUST come into store to register--- Can register til tome of drawing!

. JWC broadcasting will honor the event with their presence from 11AM to 1 PM. Enjoy lunch and cool beverages from area downtown restaurants at this FREE Downtown Monterey, Inc. Celebration.
