Nashville TN Home sales continue to be down 30% compared to 2008. Though there has been an increase in the past 2 months due to the $8000 Tax Credit for First Time Home Buyers, the average for the first 3 quarters combined is still the 30%.

There are currently over 3000 homes for sale in Nashville and 345 pending. The number of pending is already up 10% over the average number of sales for the first part of the year. The inventory, though still high, is down allowing for realistically priced homes to sell in the upcoming months.
The Nashville TN Real Estate market has been down for over a year, but continues to be ahead of many parts of the United States. It's always important to remember that even though sales are down 30%, over 2800 homes have sold this year.
