The time to buy a Tennessee HUD home is now. Don't put off until 2008 what you can do today.
The "Buy HUD with FHA" program is back. This program is for purchasers of HUD homes which will be owner-occupied, meaning you will live in the house. It is not to be purchased as a rental property or strictly for investment. If you purchase a HUD home using an FHA loan, the downpayment requirement is reduced to only $100. That's right five $20 bills, 10 $10 bills, or a hundred $1 bills - any way you want to do it. If you need money to fix it up, you can use the FHA 203k rehabilitation loan and the downpayment is still only $100. You can't beat this with a stick. This applies to HUD homes purchased with an FHA loan in Tennessee and Kentucky. The time to buy is now. Contact me for a free list of available HUD homes.
