Nashville Real Estate: Tour of Foreclosed Homes & A-Z of Real Estate Investing

Bus Tour Wednesday May 14, 2008 Will Feature Foreclosed Homes And Tips On The "A to Z" Of Real Estate Investing

NASHVILLE, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS Real Estate Owned (REO) Division and Midtown branch in Nashville real estate has organized a half-day Real Estate Investors' Road Trip for Crye-Leike Sales Associates. The half-day bus tour of foreclosed homes with tips on the A-to-Z of real estate investing will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

"We've had so many associates asking and looking for more information about finding Nashville home foreclosures, selling REO properties and investing in real estate," said Cindy Stanton Fey, Vice President and Managing Broker of Crye-Leike's REO Division and Midtown branch. "We decided a bus tour would be a great way to help our associates learn, experience and understand what's going on in our market."

The half-day bus tour will begin with breakfast at 8:00am and then consist of five stops over the course of the morning. Each stop will represent a "chapter" of sorts on a unique aspect of the real estate investing process.

The areas covered with each of the five stops will include:

  1. · Foreclosure 101 - a guide to bank owned homes
  2. · Red Flags - the inside scoop from a home inspector
  3. · Tips to Flip - best repairs for maximum return
  4. · Leasing Lowdown - information about rentals
  5. · The Bottom Line - making it work, contract to close

"Foreclosure and finding great investment opportunities is the "buzz" in the market these days," said Stanton Fey. "The cost of the tour is free thanks to several sponsors, and I think everyone who joins us will gain valuable knowledge to help them work smarter with clients looking to find and invest in foreclosures."

Sponsoring the Real Estate Investors' Road Trip and Bur Tour are Crye-Leike's REO Division, Midtown branch, Property Management and Homes Services divisions. Additional support comes from Crye-Leike's ONE SOURCE business partners: Magna Bank, Crye-Leike Insurance and Tennessee title company - Realty Title & Escrow.

Vice President and Managing Broker Cindy Stanton Fey has been with Crye-Leike for more than a decade and the past eight years in management. She is a Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) and a Past Chairman, Young Realtors, with the Greater Nashville Assoc. of Realtors (GNAR).
