For all of you sports fans out there, do not fret. Tennessee is the perfect place to come to if you are looking for a state with sports. This state is very fortunate to have three professional sports teams across the board. Some of the 50 U.S. states do not even have one and Tennessee is very blessed and honored to have three in three totally different sports.

If you make your way to the west of the state, you will find our very own NBA team, the Memphis Grizzlies. This organization has not been around for too long but they are alive and well. The Grizzlies will be kicking off their 10^th season this year under the leadership of Lionell Hollins.

Travel further east into Nashville and you will find the Nashville Predators. This NHL team is coached by the great Barry Trotz. This man is a very successful coach and the Predators are lucky to have him. He is ranked sixth all-time in both games coached (902) and wins (411) with a single franchise. Additionally, he is only the second coach in NHL history to spend each of the first 10 seasons as a team's head coach.

Finally, the one we have been waiting for. The Tennessee Titans are also in Nashville too. The team was first known as the Oilers out of Houston moved here in 1998 and has been a great team to follow ever since. This team has made it to the Superbowl since coming to Nashville and was beat in a grueling 1 yard loss. It was tragic but the pride of the state did not let up afterwards. We have seen many great players come and go through this team. It was heartbreaking when quarterback, Steve McNair passed a few years back but we are all looking for great things out of young and new quarterback, Steve Young.

Tennessee is very proud of our accomplishments and the talent we see from these great athletes. I hope we will continue to see success from these guys and hopefully many wins in the near future!
