Addison Timbers HOA August 2010 Block Party

A BYOB homeowners association party in the Midway Meadows subdivision of Addison Texas turned into a BYOD (bring your own dog) party last evening. Residents and guest of the Addison Timbers Homeowners Association (ATHOA), under the direction of Virginia Wallace, board member at large and social director, met at the fountain on Le Grande Drive for drinks and snacks.

The Town of Addison is pet friendly. There are two dog parks, one at the end of Le Grande in the greenbelt park. And, it seems, the HOA is pet-friendly, too.The fountain provided a place for a cool dip in the water for more than one pooch.

An Addison police officer stopped by to check out the festivities.

Homes in the ATHOA include all but 3 of the homes on Le Grande, all the homes on Rush, Leadville and Pokolodi, the homes on the odd side of Winter Park, and the two northmost homes on Sherlock. Not everyone who lives here has a dog, by the way. For those other residents who are cat owners owned by cats, here's what my two were up to: Knickknack took a nap in the sink and Bric-a-brac claimed my office chair. Smart kitties! It was still in the 90s last night at the fountain.
