Addison Airport is vitally important to the Town of Addison. The fixed-base-operations airport contributes $600M annually and provides more than 3,000 jobs in the area.

Nearly $11M was spent in rebuilding a runway at the airport and 90% of the funding for this came from the FAA.

The 4 month project used 1263 truckloads of asphalt, 181 miles of paint, 22 miles of electrical cable and enough grass to cover 35 football fields.
