You've heard of the "dog days of summer" but now the Town of Addison is putting a twist on the phrase.
The outdoor pool at the Addison Athletic Club is scheduled to close (for humans) on Labor Day. However, the annual doggy splash day will be held on Saturday morning, September 10th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are an Addison resident with a membership card to the AAC (one-time $10 fee for as long as you live in town), come out and support the dogs!
All participating dogs must have a 2010 or 2011 rabies tag or proof of vaccination. The fee is $5 per dog.
Humans will not be allowed to swim.
