While viewing the City of Allen Website we came across a news release that named Allen as one of the safest cities in the nation.
Allen ranked number 9 out of 385 communites in a study release by CQPress, Congressional Quarterly, that used FBI statistics for the 2007 calendar year.

Besides terrific schools, a vibrant economy, and terrific housing values, a dedicated police force promotes a quality of life in Allen that is very desirable when you're thinking of moving to a new community.
