Froberg's Farm in Alvin is a Local Favorite!

If you are relocating to the Pearland, Manvel, Alvin or Friendswood area, one of the local places of interest you should discover is Froberg's Farm in Alvin. Fresh locally-grown fruits and vegetables are available year-round at Froberg's, located at 11875 County Road 190 (parallel to Highway 6) in Alvin.

The open-air market building is packed with fresh produce, home-baked pies, homemade preserves, packaged nuts and candies, and so much more. You can even "pick your own" fruits and vegetables when they are in season. For a fun, family outing take the kids to pick strawberries in the summer!

At Christmas time you can stock up on beautiful fruit baskets made to order for your gift-giving. They offer two sizes, both full of the best and biggest oranges, apples, and grapefruits you can imagine. They make wonderful gifts!

Also located on the farm property is Greak's Smokehouse. They have the best meats ever! Try their chicken - it's so juicy and melts in your mouth! You can pick up pre-cooked meats to go with your fresh vegetables and homemade pies all at the same location!

The family-owned Froberg's Farm has been in business for over 60 years. They are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To get there from 288 South, take Highway 6 South toward Alvin. Go right on County Road 146, then left on County Road 190. The farm is about two miles down on the left.
