Baptist St. Anthony's Health System was rated one of the safest hospitals in the country for the second year in a row by an independent health care ratings company. The designation recognizes BSA's efforts to make the hospital safer.

BSA was the only hospital in the Texas Panhandle to earn the distinction. Seventeen Texas hospitals made the 2008 list.
