The Walk by Faith Inaugural 5K Race Walk is in honor of Addison Faith Bender, a little angel who spent too short a time on this earth. Addi was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, AT/RT for short, when she was 6 months old. This is a type of brain cancer. It ultimately won.

Addi's Faith Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to ending childhood cancer. They have an extensive website and outstanding community support. Addi's grandmother, Tee Bender, is a friend of mine. Her family is working hard to create something wonderful in Addi's memory. This is the inaugural year for the Walk by Faith 5K Race Walk.
