Take a Tour Through Historical Hyde Park in Austin Texas

This week I took advantage of the 87 degree weather, grabbed the Olympus and headed to some Austin Neighborhoods! Great opportunity to display some of the local neighborhoods on my sites.

Hyde Park is one of the most well known historical neighborhoods in Austin. It dates back to 1891 when it was developed as a streetcar suburb. Yep streetcars in Austin!

Many of the historical homes in Hyde Park are still standing and standing well, some are residential homes some are B&B's. The area is characterized by lush tree lined streets, victorian and bungalow house and an eclectic culture both in it's residences and it's public hangouts.
