Feeling Embarrassed from My Quote in an Inman News Article

I'm laughing so hard right now... I'm also so very extremely embarrassed right now...

Inman News interviewed me for an article about Austin that just came out: Austin market defied U.S. economic drought, but faces real one, by Mary Umberger.

She did a good job of writing the story and then did a Q&A section with me and a handful of other agents. It was interesting to see the vast aray of perceptions agents working across the area have. I'm glad I kept saying "in my area" and specifying where as others gave other information, like high foreclosure amounts, representing their areas.

So, why am I laughing and am embarrassed?

The very last question asked "Any other big changes you're seeing?" and part of my response "...none of this "Barbara Corcoran" stuff of submitting offers for 20 to 30 percent off the list price..."

Oh my... I wonder if I'm going to be contacted by Barbara Corcoran for that comment... I didn't know it was going to be published, I was just trying to make a point as I said in a previous answer to the questions What worries you the most about the current state of the market? and I answered What worries me the most are the people who listen to the national news and not the local news...
