Westwood High School ~ Volleyball 2011 Awards Banquet
Sunday night, November twentieth, Westwood High School held their Volleyball Awards Banquet at the Oasis on Lake Travis. For the second year in a row our granddaughter Hailey received the "Most Improved" award on the varsity team. The coach said she has never given the award to the same girl twice but felt the recipient definitely deserved the award. Hailey is a sophomore at Westwood High School.
The district coaches vote on the top 24 players in the district. The first 12 are on the All-District first team and the next 12 are named to the All-District second team! Hailey was so excited to be named on the All-District second team. Way to go Hailey, we are so proud of you!! Keep on rocking!!
