Red River Free Week

A yearly Austin tradition. In January, Transmission Entertainment, Red 7 and Mohawk will bring you some of our favorite local bands for nine straight nights! Lots of bands, lots of new sounds and all free!

Hundreds of tattoo artists from around the world converge in Austin for this festival, featuring contests, seminars, live bands, vendors and more!

In January of 2011, more than 700 volunteers came together to complete over 20 community improvement projects throughout Austin. They need your help now more than ever. Austin Gorilla Run

Location: Fado Irish Pub, 214 W. 4th St.
A 5k through the streets of Austin3;IN FULL GORILLA COSTUME! Runners/walkers/bikers/skaters are all welcome. All proceeds benefit the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund, protecting the Mountain Gorilla and creating jobs in Uganda, Rwanda, and The Democratic Republic of Congo. Finish at Fado Irish pub where an After Party will be held with free food and drinks featuring music by Achachay! Did we mention, you get to keep the Gorilla suit?
