Horns of Plenty ~ Improving Lives ~ Luce Scholarship Winner

The University of Texas is an amazing place of higher education. We are so fortunate to live in a city where such pride is taken in maing a difference in lives of those around them.

Christopher (C.J.) Stanfill, a doctoral student found his passion working with children who use prosthetics. C.J. recognized the mere act of moving can be a daily challenge for many youngsters wearing a prosthetic. He wants to make a difference in these children's lives through his research in the University's Movement Science Program. Stanfill, who's in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education, is one of only 15 scholars nationwide to receive the prestigious honor.
