Houston Bay Area Charities Need Resale Shop Volunteers

Assistance for resale shop activities is needed by several area charities. Teens or adults may volunteer to help sort and shelve donations of clothing, household goods, and other items to be sold in thrift stores and community service hours are granted. Sales proceeds help to fund social service programs helping needy families.

Agencies needing help are Bay Area Christian Services in League City and Kemah, Bay Area Turning Point Resale in Nassau Bay, H.I.S. Ministries in Santa Fe, Interfaith Caring Ministries in Webster, New Horizon Family Center in Baytown, Hope Village and Shepherds Nook in Friendswood, Southeast Area Ministries in South Houston, and the Resource and Crisis Center shops in Galveston, League City, and Texas City. Call 281-2282-6035 or visit www.volunteerhouston.org for more information.
