Heritage Society Museum Honors Jesse H. Jones in February

February 12 through May 25, 2008 are the dates for an exhibit showcasing the impact upon Houston of Jesse Holman Jones. An influencial figure on the local, state, and national front, Jones had a key role in U.S. history. Extensive collections that he owned will be on display, and an opening reception will take place on February 15th from 6 to 8 pm. On Sunday, February 17, the Heritage Society and Greater Houston Preservation Alliance will offer a walking tour of downtown buildings built by Jesse Jones. For more information, call 713-655-1912.
