Handmade from the Heart- Now that's what I call a gift

Well I just finished packing away all of the Christmas decorations, cleaning out the holiday refrigerator and trying to get my home back to normal. While packing, I was remembering the fun we had eating, opening gifts and spending quality time together. It made me think of a special gift that I received this year.

My broker's daughter, Megan, age 10 came to the office several times during her Christmas break. Each time she visited, she spoke with one of us and asked a lot of questions about what we liked, what our hobbies, etc. where. We all thought that she was just being an inquisitve kid.

On the day of our office holiday party, Megan attended and she had a gift that she had made for each one of us. These gifts were so unique and personal that it brought tears to my eyes when I opened mine. I love western clothes, and western decor....so of course I got a new cowgirl hat. Now this Cowgirl hat is a one of a kind and no other cowgirl can have one just like mine.

Our whole office staff was completely touched by the thoughfulness of this young lady. She is a diamond and will bring a sparkle to any room. I hope that everyone has been touched by a gift from the heart....there is nothing better than that. As for me I will wear my new cowgirl hat as often as I can, I think I may have a Mad Hatter's Tea Party for my granddaughters and we will invite Megan to join us I of course will be at the table in my fancy new Cowgirl Hat!!!
