Last night my wife and I attended the first night of the annual Texas Reds Festival in historic downtown Bryan. The event is a celebration of wine and beef ...both important products of this area. Yep, wine. In fact I was enamored by all the souvenir T shits and ball caps at the event. My favorite had the slogan on it that said:
I am a Winer....
The entertainment last night feature a really good band Big Otis. Boy can he shake. Mostly motown music but it was pleasing to everyone there. The main event is today and tonight. Many vendors and lots of food and drink.
Show up about dark thirty and the music will be be guaranteed good with Robert Earl Keen...so grab the family and friend and get down there. Plentyto do for all ages! Don't forget the lawn chairs.
Oh and I think we will go back for more tonight.
