SFR Certification Completed

Well, I did it, I stayed up late tonight to complete the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification Course. Both CRS and REBAC are offering different versions of the course. I took the REBAC version tonight. It was the first one to go live online. In order to get the certification you must complete the online course, take the course live, and complete three webinars.

I'm disappointed in the lack of substance in the course. I've been handling short sales and foreclosures for over 10 years. The course will raise the level of awareness of what resources are out there to assist the distressed seller, but there are no nuts and bolts here. If you don't know how to handle a short sale, this course will not be enough to handle one.

I do get to add 3 more little initials after my name and NAR is waiving the application fee of $175 until March 31.2010.
