Veggie Gardens Are A True Green Asset In Selling A Home For Two Reasons!

Last Year I did a blog about how veggie gardens could help a home sell . I also now believe they are even more of an asset in this "green" and health conscious world we live in. Veggie Gardens are a true green asset when selling a home for two reasons.

• They offer good Green things to eat
• They could result in more "Greenbacks" $$$ when you sell your home.

And if you really want to impress buyers, try growing a garden with 'Heirloom seeds"....those are seeds that produce veggies that you can take the seeds from and re-plant next year. Remember most retail seeds are hybrids and the offspring are 'sterile"

If you are considering starting a garden in the Bryan or College Station area you might want to visit with the local extension service..they can tell you what to plant and when and how you can have your garden soil tested.
