FAIRWOOD MARKET REPORT for the second quarter of 2011

Ten homes closed in the Fairwood subdivision for the period of 4/1/11 through 6/30/11. Fairwood is located in the NW Houston area between Telge and Grant just south of Spring Cypress. Excellent schools, great ammenities (a neighborhood pool, park, playground and tennis courts), mature trees, and low HOA fees make Fairwood a great place to call home!

Sale prices ranged from $72,740 up to $144,000. Those homes with the most recent upgrades received the highest price per sq. ft. There were SIX homes which were not foreclosures of these ten sales. The average price/ sq. ft. was $61.51. The four remaining sales were foreclosure homes with an average price/sq. ft. of $42.29.
